Summary

This interview was conducted by the KM Unit at Petaling Jaya. It was held to recollect and capture the historical insights on the establishment and early development of Dar al-Hikmah Library, IIUM. The interviewer for the session was Cik Sakinah Binti Kamaludin, Senior Librarian.

Significant value of the resource to IIUM and community

Oral history provides a fuller, more accurate picture of the IIUM in the past. Eyewitnesses to IIUM events which contribute various viewpoints and perspectives that fill in the gaps in documented history.
