The event was organised at the Malik Faisal Hall from 6-7 January 1996 with the theme 'A Competitive Society Towards National Development: Awakening the Undergraduates'. Y.B Dato' as the Minister of Entrepreneur graced the event by delivering the keynote address, officiating the event and giving the farewell lecture. In addition, the event was delighted with the cheque presentation by PERA Asia to IIUM which was witnessed by almost 200 participants both from various educational institutions and the public at large.
It captures the great efforts of the EMS students' of IIUM in organizing the events which enlightened the participants of the Convention on the issue of maintaining the economy without the defects of moral and social problems that most developed nations are still struggling with.
